As the Los Angeles Marathon ran from East to West across the city, two busloads of Angelenos headed to East Los Angeles led by the Progressive Jewish Alliance (PJA) and the Alliance for Healthy and Responsible Grocery Stores.  Faith leaders, health care providers, educators, students, and residents joined together in calling upon elected leaders to adopt a city-wide policy for ending the grocery divide between communities in Los Angeles.
