2004 City of Justice Awards Dinner
Celebrating the Building a Better Los Angeles

On December 1, 2004, LAANE celebrated its annual City of Justice Awards Dinner. The dinner was held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels Center at Cathedral Plaza. Honorees were leaders of the Hotel Workers, Security Guards, and Grocery Workers Campaigns, as well as John Wilhelm, president of UNITE HERE!'s Hospitality Division, Fabian Núñez, speaker of the California State Assembly and civil rights and social justice leader Rev. James M. Lawson, Jr., who received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
